On 7-8 February 2020, the Russian Arbitration Center will host the fourth pre-moots of the student competition in international investment arbitration, Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court (FIAMC).
On 7 February (Friday), we will hold the traditional conference on the topical issues of investment arbitration featuring leading Russian and foreign experts. The pre-moots will take place on 8 February (Saturday).
The Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court is a prestigious student competition on investment arbitration. The competition combines the international investment law, one of the most rapidly evolving spheres of law in the modern world, with the history of international law and international trade law.
FIAMC rounds emulate arbitral proceedings in a dispute between a foreign investor and the host state. Arbitrators include experts with considerable experience in investment disputes. The Global Rounds of the competition will take place on 2-6 March 2020 in Frankfurt.
