Julia Zagonek is an English solicitor-advocate. From 2010 to 2025 she was a partner in the international arbitration practice of White & Case. Julia is currently based in Dubai where she is focusing on Middle East commercial and investment treaty arbitration.
Julia specialises in complex multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes arising out of M&A transactions, joint ventures and partnerships with a particular interest in disputes involving allegations of fraud and money-laundering. She has significant experience and expertise in international commercial and investor-state arbitration having represented states, leading global corporations, financial institutions and high net worth individuals in proceedings conducted under all major arbitral institutions and rules. She is regularly appointed as arbitrator.
