Сourses on International Arbitration by CIArb x RIMA

The Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration is pleased to announce that it organizes an Introductory Course to International Arbitration together with the European Branch and the Russian Chapter of European Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

RIMA and CIArb are organizing courses on international arbitration in Russia for the fifth time. The analogous courses organized by the Institute in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 received exceptionally positive feedback from the participants from CIS, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The course «Introduction to International Arbitration» will provide an understanding of the general principles of International (i.e. non-domestic) Arbitration and its relationship to other dispute resolution processes. If you are new to the field of international arbitration and/or you want to learn about its benefits to users, then this is the ideal course for you.

The course «Module 1. Law Practice and Procedure International Arbitration» provides detailed knowledge of the procedural elements of international arbitration, using legislation based on the UNCITRAL Model Law, regional Arbitration law, and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules to enable them to understand and participate in such proceedings. The course focuses on legal principles, practice and procedure in international arbitration. It is suitable for anyone wishing to understand this topic generally, for example as a party representative or witness. It is also an essential requirement for qualification as a Member of CIArb (MCIArb), and for those who aim to practice as an international arbitrator.
