Eighth Scientific Air Law Conference

On October 26, 2018 the Eighth Scientific Air Law Conference took place with support of the Federal Air Transport Agency and the Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation. Russian Arbitration Center at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration was presented as a partner of the Conference.

The event is organized by the National Association of Air Law and AEROHELP Institute of Air and Space Law.

At the Conference there were five panels which were dedicated to the following issues: influence of sanctions on the air company operation; possibility and necessity of Single Eurasian Sky organization; privacy protection of passenger data; legal restrictions of drones’ usage; compensation in international air carriage.

Russian Arbitration Center announced its interest to cooperate with AEROHELP Institute of Air and Space Law, as well as its initiative to commence specialist database which will include the leading practitioners in the transport field disputes, in particular, the ones arising from the air carriage contacts and other relevant disputes.  The Center invites specialists from different legal systems, who have great expertise in the air carriage field to join the Center’s database.
