On January 29, 2018 the first meeting of the Board of the Arbitration Center at the Institute of Modern Arbitration was held. During the meeting the Board discussed the candidates to be appointed in the cases received by the Arbitration Center in early 2018.
The Board appointed the arbitrators in all cases. The Board is a collective organ in charge of appointing and challenging arbitrators as well as terminating their mandate. In accordance with articles 14 and 15 of the Arbitration Rules 2017 the Board appoints sole and presiding arbitrators unless the parties have agreed upon them in an arbitration agreement.
